Who are we?
We are a small team of system traders from Singapore, comprising of individuals with diverse background, from savvy institutional traders to geeky IT specialists. With the unique blend of expertises each of us brought in, we have created several trading systems together throughout the years. Till today, we are still trading those systems, refining them along the way and also working on developing new systems.
Are we traders or coders?
We have both traders and coders in our team. Through the years of developing the systems together, we have slowly come to understand each other domain. As a result, the traders can now code and the coders have started trading.
Why are we doing this if we are making money from trading?
First and foremost, we want to unveil the mystery surrounding algorithmic/black box trading. We are also hoping to find like minded people who can contribute to our team. For some of us, it is to satisfy our entrepreneurial desire and for the others, it is a break from the solitary nature of trading. Our long term goal is to have CodingTrader put like-minded traders/coders in touch with others, creating a self sustaining community.
Do we conduct courses?
We do not intend to conduct courses. However we do have plans to create software to aid beginners pick up skills in trading and especially in money management which we feel is lacking in trading education arena currently.
Do we manage funds?
No. We do not manage funds. We only trade our own accounts and accounts of close friends.
Can I join your team?
We welcome experience people from different domains e.g. traders, programmers, mathematicians to collaborate with us. We have successfully worked with coders and traders from different countries in the past. Click here to contact us if you are interested.
